Paul Storey Named Chief Operating Officer of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center

Paul StoreyBrookwood Baptist Health today announced Paul Storey, FACHE has been named chief operating officer of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. Storey joins the Brookwood Baptist Health System from the Huntsville Hospital Health System where he served as president of Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Ala. with additional responsibility for Red Bay Hospital in Red Bay, Ala.

A seasoned health care administrator, Storey’s career spans more than 25 years in a number of leadership roles. Prior to his most recent role, Storey served as chief operating officer of Helen Keller Hospital. Storey previously held positions as chief executive officer of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, W. Va. and assistant chief executive officer of Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark.

Storey earned his bachelor’s degree in public administration from Samford University in Birmingham, as well as master’s degrees in business administration and healthcare administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Storey is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives. Among his community affiliations include board member of Life South Community Blood Centers, board member of the American Cancer Society - Alabama Board and Legislative and Program Committee member of the Alabama Hospital Association.
