Meet a Few of Our Heroes at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center

You may have heard that crisis doesn’t make or break you, it reveals you. When COVID-19 appeared on the horizon, our teams were ready. We always knew that the doctors, nurses and staff at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center came to work with compassion, support and expertise. What we’ve seen in the last few months is a true revealing of what it means to have a calling to the medical profession. Every day, we see tireless and selfless giving of care. We see sacrifice and perseverance to fight a ferocious enemy. And we see compassion and gratitude for the beauty in every victory.

The nurses and staff were really good to me.

Brookwood Medical Center is the best hospital in Birmingham. I would recommend it to family and friends. The doctors and staff are very courteous, and I would recommend anyone that has a problem to go to this hospital.

The whole staff was very respectful, courteous and understanding. They were easy to talk to and very nice. I think it's one of the best hospital experiences I've ever had.

I was very happy with the staff, they were very nice and good to me. I would recommend any family or friends to visit as they needed it.

The nurses on the Mommy and Baby and the Labor and Delivery floors were fantastic. They had great bedside manner, they made me feel comfortable when being discharged and they made my stay very pleasant. It made my husband and I feel very comfortable and reassured throughout the entire hospital stay.

Brookwood Medical Center was very good, courteous and clean. The doctors and staff were wonderful. I highly recommend Brookwood Medical Center.

I received excellent care at Brookwood. The lactation specialist was especially wonderful. I would definitely recommend Brookwood.  

I was very pleased with all of my experiences at Brookwood. I've told so many of my friends and family about what a wonderful experience it was. I was a little apprehensive about my surgery, but they made me feel at ease. 

The entire staff did an excellent job. I felt very well cared for and knew I was in good hands. I'm glad I came to Brookwood's ER.

Someone was always with me. It felt like I had the entire staff working to meet my needs and my comfort. It was the best experience ever.
